1. What are your expectations for GAT Expo CDMX 2025?
I expect GAT Expo CDMX 2025 to be a pivotal event for the Mexican gaming industry, bringing together regulators, operators, suppliers, and thought leaders. It’s a unique opportunity to showcase the maturity of Mexico as a regulated market and to highlight innovation across both land-based and online verticals. For Amusnet, it’s also about strengthening our presence, connecting with partners, and reinforcing our commitment to providing entertainment-driven gaming experiences that go beyond traditional offerings.
2. What are your business perspectives regarding the Mexican regulated market, both land-based and online?
Amusnet has built its reputation in online gaming, and that remains our foundation as we grow internationally. Entering the Mexican market with our new land-based cabinets is an exciting step, even though current regulatory restrictions make the process more complex for suppliers like us. We see these challenges as opportunities to innovate and explore alternative solutions that will allow us to serve operators effectively. Mexico is a strategic market with tremendous potential, and we are confident that by combining our strong online portfolio with the launch of our land-based cabinets, we can gradually establish a meaningful presence across both verticals and contribute to the industry’s growth.
3. You will be participating in a panel about the challenges in distribution and marketing in Mexico. What should we expect from your presentation?
In Mexico, the path to entering the land-based market is not straightforward. From import restrictions to distribution hurdles, suppliers face a very specific set of challenges. During the panel, I will share Amusnet’s perspective as we work to introduce our cabinets into the market. I’ll address the obstacles we are encountering, the lessons we’re learning along the way, and the alternative strategies we are developing to move forward. The aim of my participation is to contribute to the discussion on how adaptability and collaboration with operators can open doors, even in a highly regulated and competitive environment.
4. What do you expect from the rest of GAT Expo CDMX 2025's academic agenda?
Since this is only the second edition of GAT in Mexico, having a strong academic agenda is key to building the event’s presence and long-term relevance in the region. The topics selected this year - from regulatory updates to affiliate marketing, combating illegal gaming, and the use of data analytics - are exactly the kind of conversations that can strengthen the industry. I expect these sessions to provide valuable insights not only for operators and suppliers but also for regulators and associations who are shaping the future of gaming in Mexico.
5. What will be your networking strategies during the event?
Sponsoring the lounge area is at the core of our networking strategy for this edition of GAT Expo CDMX. By being at the center of where many conversations naturally take place, we want to create a welcoming space where operators, regulators, and partners can engage with us in an informal yet impactful way.
In addition, we are proud to sponsor and participate in the LMG Fútbol Experience on Tuesday, which is a great opportunity to connect with industry colleagues in a more relaxed and social environment. We will also be actively participating in the AIEJA Assembly on Wednesday, a key forum to exchange ideas with regulators, operators, and associations while reinforcing our commitment to responsible and sustainable gaming in Mexico.
Together, these initiatives highlight our approach to networking: being present in strategic spaces, fostering open dialogue, and building strong, long-term partnerships that contribute to the growth of the Mexican market.
