Amusnet participated for a second consecutive year in Google Cloud Day Bulgaria, joining technology leaders, cloud experts, and cybersecurity professionals to discuss the future of AI, cloud transformation, and modern security operations.
Representing the company on stage, Yanek Munin, Cybersecurity Platform Engineer at Amusnet, joined Cosmin Pascu from Google Cloud for a featured session titled “Real-World SecOps Implementation with Amusnet.”
During the discussion, Yanek Munin shared practical insights from Amusnet’s day-to-day cybersecurity operations and outlined how the company approaches large-scale SecOps challenges in a fast-moving global environment.
Speaking about the realities behind modern security operations, Munin emphasized the importance of operational fundamentals over industry hype: “That’s why I’m careful about the ‘agentic SOC’ framing. The boring stuff has to work before the exciting stuff matters.”

The session focused heavily on the importance of high-quality telemetry and unified security data across cloud, on-premises, and SaaS environments. Munin highlighted that successful automation depends first and foremost on reliable data pipelines and properly structured security information. “The data quality problem is the SecOps problem,” he emphasized.
He further explained how Amusnet leverages Google SecOps to normalize and enrich telemetry from multiple sources, enabling analysts to work with contextualized insights rather than raw events.
The conversation also explored the evolving role of security analysts in modern SOC environments. Rather than replacing human expertise, automation and AI technologies are helping teams focus on higher-value investigative and detection engineering tasks.
Discussing the role of AI in cybersecurity operations, Munin offered a balanced perspective on the current capabilities of intelligent automation: “AI is excellent at pattern-matching against what it knows. Humans are still better at noticing the thing that hasn't happened before.”
Summarizing Amusnet’s approach to AI adoption in SecOps, he added: “Force multiplier today, not replacement.”
Google Cloud Day Bulgaria 2026 brought together business and technology leaders from across the region, with dedicated sessions focused on AI-powered operations, infrastructure modernization, cloud-native architectures, and cybersecurity transformation.
Amusnet’s continued participation in the event highlights the company’s commitment to innovation, cybersecurity excellence, and the adoption of scalable cloud technologies that support secure business growth.
Last year, Amusnet was represented by Stoyan Popov, Chief Information Security Officer, who discussed how AI is shaping the modern workplace and driving operational efficiency across organizations.
