Amusnet successfully concluded its participation at NEXT.io Valletta 2026, one of the industry’s most influential gatherings, held on May 27–28 at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta, Malta. Bringing together operators, suppliers, affiliates, and market experts from across the globe, the event once again proved to be a key platform for shaping the future of iGaming, and Amusnet was proud to play an active role in the conversation.
The company delivered a strong and recognisable presence throughout the event, combining strategic brand visibility with meaningful opportunities for industry engagement. Amusnet focused on creating moments that encouraged dialogue, collaboration, and lasting connections within the sector.
A key highlight of NEXT.io Valletta 2026 was Amusnet’s contribution to the conference agenda through expert-led discussions delivered by members of the Amusnet Gaming team.
Hayley Joseph, Commercial Projects Manager, participated in the session “Africa Isn’t One Market,” contributing valuable insight into the diversity and complexity of African gaming markets. The panel highlighted the importance of localised business strategies, regulatory awareness, and cultural understanding when approaching emerging regions with high growth potential.
“One of the biggest misconceptions about Africa is treating it as a single market. Success across the continent requires a deep understanding of each country's unique regulatory environment, payment ecosystem, users' preferences, and cultural nuances. The companies that thrive are those willing to invest time on the ground, build relationships with local stakeholders, and adapt their strategies to local realities rather than applying a copy-paste approach from more mature markets”, Hayley Joseph explained.
“Africa presents tremendous growth opportunities, but sustainable success starts with listening. Understanding how users deposit, what motivates them, which channels they trust, and even what rewards resonate most can make the difference between entering a market and truly becoming part of it. Localisation is not just about language, it’s about understanding behaviour, culture, and the everyday realities”, she added.

Jessica Bucciano, Marketing and Events Team Lead, joined the panel “Employer Branding: Where HR & Marketing Meet,” exploring how companies in the fast-evolving iGaming sector are redefining employer branding strategies. The discussion addressed the growing alignment between HR and marketing functions, emphasising authenticity, company culture, and employee advocacy as essential factors in attracting and retaining talent in a highly competitive market.
“The best employer branding strategy isn't created by marketing or HR alone. It's built by the people who live the company culture every day. When employees proudly recommend their workplace to others, that's the strongest proof that your values, purpose, and culture are working. Creating opportunities for collaboration, shared experiences, and meaningful connections is what turns employees into true brand ambassadors”, Jessica Bucciano said.
“From collaborative workshops and cross-team initiatives to thoughtfully designed workspaces, every touchpoint contributes to a culture that employees are proud to be part of.”
The panel also explored how employer branding has evolved into a strategic business function that influences culture, reputation, talent attraction, and long-term growth.
The event also featured an interview with Thaluana Muscat, Lead Sales Manager, who shared perspectives on industry trends, market opportunities, and the importance of maintaining strong partnerships in an increasingly dynamic global landscape.

The Rooftop Drinks event on Day 1 became one of the standout networking moments of the conference, welcoming partners, clients, and industry professionals in a premium setting overlooking Valletta. Beyond the branding activations and immersive visual presence, the event reflected Amusnet’s ongoing commitment to building strong relationships and fostering an open exchange of ideas across the gaming ecosystem.
Throughout NEXT.io Valletta 2026, Amusnet reinforced its position not only as a leading provider of gaming solutions, but also as a company actively contributing to industry development through expertise, collaboration, and innovation. The event served as another important step in strengthening existing partnerships, exploring new opportunities, and participating in the conversations shaping the next chapter of iGaming.
